Experience North Country was founded in June 2010 by husband and wife, Tim & Emma Hardie. In April 2011 baby Grace joined the team, making it a real 'family business'.

Having grown up in the beautiful Northumbrian countryside, in families involved in tourism, Tim & Emma are naturally passionate about the North East of England and all it has to offer. They work with some of the best providers and experts across the region, to offer you a comprehensive and distinctive range of high quality, authentic tours, packages and experiences, perfect for visitors and locals looking for unique ways to spend their free time, or indeed, an original gift!

Tim & Emma are growing Experience North Country organically around family life and Tim's full time job in the adventure travel industry. You will usually find Emma & Grace at the end of your telephone calls or emails, so don’t be surprised if you hear someone gurgling away in the background!
