Description:

Learn how to get the best from nature's larder with forager extraordinaire Chris Bax. With help from a large area of woodland and well stocked outdoor kitchen, complete with wood burning cooking fires and clay oven, Chris will show you how to find and prepare some fantastic meals the way nature intended.

As well as foraging and food preservation, wild meat and fish are also covered on the course, with the opportunity to skin rabbits and bone fish (PLEASE NOTE: Wild meat and fish will NOT be covered for weekends suitable for vegetarians).

Cost Includes:

All meals, tools, tuition & 2 nights tipi accommodation with your group (although you are welcome to bring your own tent if you’d prefer).

Essential Information:

Gift Voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase (a 12 month extension can be purchased for £10 per person)

The minimum age for this course is 12 years and any under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

About Chris Bax:

Chris Bax has been passionate about food and the great outdoors from a young age. Chris has travelled widely and has experienced life with indigenous people around the globe. His love of food led him into a career as a chef, but the outdoor life kept calling and inspired him to set up ‘Taste the Wild’, enabling him to combine his interests and pass on his enthusiasm and knowledge to others. Chris’s understanding of wild food is comprehensive and his enthusiasm infectious.
