Ever dreamed of learning to fly? If so then where better to do it than above Northumberland's celebrated scenery. Your learn to fly package includes the full 25 hours tuition required to gain your full NPPL licence, 5 exams, GFT, 1 years club membership at Eshott Airfield and 10 hours ground schooling. If you require any additional time to obtain your licence you can buy this on a pro-rata basis.

Your microlight flight starts at Eshott Airfield, near Morpeth. It is run by Storm Smith, an intrepid pilot who has flown a microlight from Bangalore to Farnborough AND set a new British high-altitude record flying to 20,300 feet!

Important Information

To fly solo you must be at least 16 years old and hold a Declaration of Fitness. This is based on DVLA regulations and should be signed by your GP (no medical examination is normally required). A medical form and information sheets are available on the CAA website www.caa.co.uk.

The weight limit for a weightshift aircraft is 110kg and the height limit is 6ft 5in.
